Such a pretty item this is a vintage tie press.
It has a inlaid EFFECT (please note its not actually inlaid, just decorated in that style).
Has two metal tighteners on either side of the middle.
This could be used as a small flower press and I have used it to press small pieces of paper that need flattening.
Please note the space inside is fairly limited width ways, due to the fact that the metal tighteners pull in towards the centre.
Lovely little item.
