Our instructions are very much tailored towards our marbling provisions so we do not recommend buying these on their own.

We have added an asterisk to those items that are the most important if you have never marbled before.
We also hope it will make it easier to come back and order more goods when you run low and we are hopefully going to continue to add new items that we think you will enjoy.

International shipping defaults to a price that considers a customer ordering several items from this category. If you just order one or two small items then it's very likely we will need to refund you.

A few notes follow to make your ordering as easy and possible and to hopefully answer any questions you might have:

**We would recommend ordering at least the following:
The Carrageenan, Alum, Instructions, expander and either ready mixed or tubes of paint.

We do NOT offer a tray within our marbling provisions, as to be honest a cat little tray makes for a fantastic marbling tray as do gravel trays from the garden centre.

The marbling instructions are comprehensive and outline how to mix the marbling supplies and how to use them.
This should only be purchased in conjunction with using our specific supplies.
The instructions have a cover made from one of our own hand marbled papers.

The papers are supplied in large size to enable you to cut them down to your own requirements / tray size.

Currently we are only able to offer Buttermilk base paper as part of the International provisions. This is already cut to a size of 22cm x 33cm which will fit into a standard cat litter tray.

Paints available are Winsor and Newton Designer Gouache 14ml tubes for you to mix yourselves (you will need some jam jars or small pots and to purchase the 'expander'), alternatively we have some colours available which are ready-mixed and 'good to go' which are supplied in 60ml glass jars.
Please let us know in the notes section which colours you would like (we don't match to specific colours so please simply state 'blue, red, orange, purple' etc for example).

Please let us know in the 'notes' section if you have a preference for metallic (gold, silver or copper).

The Alum is an important part of marbling as it ensures paint sticks to the surface of the paper.

The Fan brushes have a nice wide head perfect to get some good coverage
Sold as a set of 3.

Bamboo stylus are two different thickness'.

Pipettes are a great option should you wish to apply the paint in specific areas of your tray or if you want to try your hand at the art the Ebru.

IMPORTANT: Gloves should be worn during the aluming process.

The metallic paints are all acrylic paints, these do not show up so well on buttermilk base paper but maybe you have some of your own coloured papers you can try.
