This is another map compiled for The National Geographic Magazine that I purchased from a local Antique shop.
This map is dated 1962
This map is great for detail and names of towns
Shows many areas including Argentina and Brazil.
Marbled in a palette of gold, green, copper, burnt orange and dusky pink.
Marbled in a combed linear style.
Map is plain on the reverse.
Map is in good condition but although kept flat and pressed by us it was folded for many years and the fold creases are still evident. There may also be a couple of very small pin sized holes in the joins from where it has been folded.
Would be great framed as an unusual piece of artwork or would also make some very interesting book covers.
The size of this map is 63cm x 48cm
Sent rolled inside a postal tube
