Hand marbled vintage French document No.9

A new collection of 19 original marbled artworks on vintage French hand written documents.

Each of the artworks are original, one-of-a-kind.

Size of this piece: the marbled section measures 275mm x 190mm but this piece actually opens to double the size, though only the 'front' is marbled.

The base papers used are antique handwritten French documents and I've tried to allow plenty of this beautiful text to show through the marbling.

Some are over 100 years old so there are signs of age including tears, small holes, dis-coloration and possibly small missing corners - but I think these are all part of the charm of these antique papers.
Many have handwriting on the front and the back although only one side is marbled (there may be excess paint or 'size' on the reverse).

NOTE: we hang our papers to dry so there will be two clip indentations on one of the shorter edges.

To keep the cost of shipping down if these are ordered on their own we are sending them flat in a cellophane bag.
If ordered with full sized or printed marble papers they will be sent inside a postal tube, rolled without the cellophane which does not roll well.

Internationally any overpaid postage will be refunded at the time of shipping.
