Since hearing about leather paper its something I have been really keen to try.
This FAUX leather paper is made from cellulose and latex and is a great vegan alternative to leather, plus traditional leather can be tricky to marble.

This unique material has a lovely tactile quality that falls somewhere between leather and paper.
I should say that in order to get the characteristic effects the 'paper' has been very scrunched which has left it with a more crumpled texture and a creased look on the reverse. This needs to happen to get the soft and supple feel.

Because of this it is perhaps not suited to a covering material but instead can be used for a wealth of other crafting application where you might use leather or paper.

I think it would make some lovely envelopes or pouches.

The base colour is a kind of manilla with a dark marbled design on top.

There are two pieces available, which can be purchased separately but they are matching.

The pieces measure 495mm x 370mm.

These may be sent rolled or folded but folding will not cause any issues.
You can lightly iron on the reverse if you do want the piece to be flatter.
